Voce, chitarra acustica e loop costruiti ad hoc costituiscono il suo sound, fresco e attuale.<br />Non è un cantautorato di protesta, i suoi testi sono postivi e le sue canzoni arrivano "imprimendosi come un mantra nella testa" (C. Criveletto per Flaneurs web magazine)<br />Il progetto nasce, seppur in forma embrionale, nel 2015; di ritorno dall’esperienza come Buskers in Inghilterra, Francesco comincia scrivere i suoi primi brani riportando le impressioni, il vissuto, le persone incontrate facendo il musicista di strada.<br />Inizialmente vengono caricati due videoclip autoprodotti su Youtube e a Novembre 2016 esce il primo EP "Via Marconi 38”.<br />I suoi brani riscuotono un buon successo, anche di critica (Giornale di Vicenza) e lo portano a sfiorare la finale nazionale di Musicultura 2017 (partner Rai1 e Radio1) a Macerata; parallelamente Francesco promuove i suoi brani inediti con diversi eventi live, contest, passaggi radiofonici e sul web.<br />Ad Agosto ha partecipato come artista accreditato al Ferrara Buskers Festival 2017.<br />Attualmente sta lavorando a nuove canzoni, da poco è uscito il nuovo videoclip del suo brano “Due”, e come singolo nei Digital Store.<br /><br /><br />Francesco Balasso is a young Italian Songwriter and Music teacher. His voice,<br />acoustic guitar and purpose-built loop constitute its fresh and modern sound. He does not write protest songs, his lyrics are positive and his songs arrive like a mantra in the head.<br />In November 2016, he published his first EP " Via Marconi 38".<br />It was very successful and received positive reviews as a result, it took Francesco to the semi-final of Musicultura 2017. It is a very important national contest (on the 1st channel of national T.V.)<br />In 2017, Francesco participated in the International Busking Festival in Ferrara, one of the biggest in Europe.
