U.S. President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have agreed to continue putting maximum pressure on North Korea over its nuclear programs.<br /> Speaking on the phone Wednesday,... the two leaders held a united front in deciding to keep up the pressure until the North agrees to denuclearize.<br />Abe told reporters after the phone call that the two countries reaffirmed their alliance on the nuclear issue -- and that they will not be moved by North Korea's threats.<br />This was the first phone conversation between the two leaders since early February.<br />Abe met U.S. Vice President Mike Pence last week during when they attended the PyeongChang Winter Games. <br />
