Several people were injured at a Fort Meade security gate after a vehicle tried to break through.<br />According to reports, intruders attempted to ram through a barrier with an SUV at the Maryland military base, before gunfire broke out.<br />The base also serves as the headquarters for the National Security Agency.<br />A public information office at the base stated the incident took place early in the morning around 7:00 a.m. <br />
