<p>Rural fire crews felled “chimney” trees at Marge’s Lookout, in Katoomba’s Glenbrook area, in a video posted to Facebook on February 16, following an intense bushfire.</p><p>Following an out-of-control bushfire on Thursday, February 15</a>, rural fire crews took chainsaws to the huge trees, as they are “dangerous and impossible to put out.”</p><p>The fire caused road closures and aerial crews were required to drop water on the blaze.</p><p>In this video, in the fire’s aftermath, a firefighter carefully saws at a tree before it cracks and falls over with a huge whooshing noise.
