A powerful storm accompanied with very damaging hail hit parts of central and southern India this week.<br /><br />Aftermath footage, captured on February 13 in the city of Betul, Madhya Pradesh, locals removing hailstones the size of a golf ball from the top of a market stall as huge amounts of hail pile-up on the ground. <br /><br />According to reports, the unseasonal hailstorm caused heavy damage to crops in hundreds of villages in Madhya Pradesh.
