A cat came out of nowhere to pounce on an unsuspecting bird while its owner was teaching it how to walk towards a syringe filled with water outside of his home in San Pedro City, Philippines, on February 14.<br /><br />As the 6-week-old African lovebird named Lola waddled along a wooden bench, a cat suddenly leapt up and pinned down the bird.<br /><br />Luckily, the owner jumped in to save the lovebird. He pushed away the cat, which fell to the ground, and helped Lola, who was shaken but unharmed.<br /><br />“The cat jumped up from nowhere,” the owner said. “It was very sneaky and quiet because I didn't even notice him. It happened so quick.”
