Facebook will be using U.S. postcards to verify ID and location of people who want to buy election-related advertising.<br /><br />This is in response to criticism of failing to detect Russia's use of the site to spread political disinformation in the 2016 election.<br /><br />The plans were revealed after Robert Mueller unsealed an indictment accusing 3 Russian companies of interfering in the election via social media.<br /><br />The postcards contain a special code that will read and determine its location. <br />
