The suspect of a school shooting in Florida briefly appeared in court for a procedural hearing.<br />The accused Nikolas Cruz did not speak during the hearing at Broward County Circuit Court.<br />He kept his head down, avoiding eye contact, throughout the hearing.<br />Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer called the hearing to address concerns for how documents would be sealed going forward.<br />The 19-year-old Cruz is charged with 17 counts of murder for the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. <br />
