There are more woes for the DC Extended Movie Universe.<br />Joss Whedon has left 'Batgirl.'<br />In March 2017 Whedon came on to directed the Batgirl project.<br />But, he quit after a year of trying to develop the film.<br />Sources say Whedon could not figure out what a Batgirl movie should be.<br />Batgirl is such an exciting project, and Warners/DC such collaborative and supportive partners, that it took me months to realize I really didn't have a story.<br />Whedon has been a controversial figure lately. <br />
