PyeongChang 2018 officially ended for Team Korea's athletes on Monday... after their record-breaking haul of five gold, eight silver and four bronze medals.<br /> The host nation, which ranked in seventh place overall, held a disbanding ceremony inside the athletes' village in Gangneung.<br /> Do Jong-hwan, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attended the ceremony to give his compliments to the athletes for their hard work and success.<br />Though South Korea fell short of its original goal of finishing in the top-four,… its 17 medals surpassed South Korea's previous record of 14 medals at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games. <br />Team Korea's delegation at PyeongChang 2018 was its largest ever, with one-hundred-44 athletes in all 15 sports. <br />
