Panicked shoppers in Ireland have emptied supermarket shelves to stock up on supplies ahead of Storm Emma.<br /><br />Video posted yesterday (February 26) to social media at an Aldi supermarket in Kilkenny in southeast Ireland showed several empty shelves without bread and vegetables. <br /><br />Filmer Caroline Clifford told Newsflare: "I never saw anything like this before, everyone seems to be preparing for the big freeze!"<br /><br />The storm is set to arrive today as the Beast from the East weather system sweeps across the UK and Ireland. <br /><br />Temperatures could feel as cold as -15C.
