Canon's new flash unit makes flash photography idiot-proof. The 470EX-AI uses a laser to scan the subject and ceiling in the room, measure distance, and then calculate the brightness and direction of the flash to give you the perfect shot. <br /><br />It isn't the perfect smart flash, but it's the first full size flash to automatically bounce the light, and it's pretty slick. BONUS: It maintains the flash even if you move or tilt the camera the flash unit moves and will seek out the original angle. Expect it to go for $400, so you'll definitely be paying a premium to not bother how to bounce your flash. <br />
