A double-decker London bus struggles up a hill.<br /><br />A black cab taxi drives the wrong way down a snow-covered road.<br /><br />And a vehicle belonging to a private taxi firm slides out of control.<br /><br />A south-east London woman captured all of the above scenes today as blizzard conditions made driving hazardous throughout much of the UK. <br /> <br />According to the filmer, the car sliding down the hill was a vehicle operated by mini-cab firm Addison Lee.<br /><br />The three incidents all took place this morning on the A2216 in Dog Kennel Hill, Dulwich, near the junction with Albrighton Road.<br /><br />In the video, a woman can be heard saying: "He's slammed the brakes on completely and now he's just sliding down the hill, out of control."<br /><br />The ongoing polar vortex known as the "Beast from the East" is still affecting much of the UK, causing numerous traffic and travel delays, as well as isolating rural communities.
