<p>Montpellier experienced its second day of snow on March 1 as the city was placed on a red weather alert.</p><p>The extreme conditions</a> resulted in 2,000 people being placed in emergency accommodation overnight and caused hundreds of motorists to be stranded along highways in the Herault region.</p><p>This video shows one resident who chose skiing as her mode of transport in the snow-covered city.
