A house in the small village of Outhgill, England, had more than a hundred large icicles hanging off the guttering and window sills.

This happens when a lot of snow has settled on the roof and then the temperature rises and the snow starts to melt and water drips off the gutters.

When the temperature drops and a strong icy wind blows, the water drips freeze to form theses amazing formations. With this constant freezing and thawing, the icicles can grow to an impressive length.

This footage was captured at Outhgill in the Mallerstang Valley, Cumbria, on March 2, 2018, after major snowstorms hit the UK.

++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++
