Reacting to the inter-Korean summit announcement,... U.S. President Donald Trump said the meeting between President Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong-un has the potential to be "a great thing for the world."<br /> Speaking at the Oval Office on Tuesday ahead of talks with the Swedish Prime Minister,.. President Trump had this to say on the possibility of talks between Washington and Pyongyang.<br /><br /> "We have come certainly a long way, at least rhetorically, with North Korea. It would be a great thing for the world. It would be a great thing for North Korea. It would be a great thing for the (Korean) Peninsula. But we'll see what happens."<br /><br />Trump added the North "seems to be acting positively" but stressed he's still taking a wait-and-see approach. <br />He welcomed the summit announcement on Twitter earlier on Tuesday, but also cautioned that it could be a "false hope". <br />
