<p>Police in Fairfax, Virginia, said a man was hit by his own car after leaving the vehicle in drive while attempting to run from police on March 4.</p><p>Fairfax County Police released this footage, which they said was recorded after the man sped off when police tried to pull him over.</p><p>The video shows the man, identified in local reports</a> as 30 year-old Isaac Bonsu, exiting his car as the vehicle continues to roll forward. He is seen running in front of the car before being struck by the vehicle.</p><p>The man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, his third such offence, police said. WLJA reported</a> that the man also faced charges of hit-and-run, disregarding an officer’s signal to stop, driving with an open container, possession of marijuana, and illegal window tint.
