A new, improved example for one of North America's most popular half-ton pickup trucks, the 2019 Ram 1500 is a meaner, leaner workhorse. Roughly 225 pounds lighter than the generation it replaces, the new Ram 1500 pickup truck is engineered with a new level of refinement in the categories of performance, durability and comfort. Active grille shutters, Frequency Responsive Damping, an industry-first thermal rear axle as well as electric performance boost of e-Torque with the HEMI V-8 are some of the innovations found on the 2019 model year truck. <br /><br />Similar to the current generation truck, the all-new Ram 1500 models will also feature numerous grille designs identifying trim packages such as the Limited or the Canadian-exclusive Sport.<br /><br />This video footage for Car FYI was captured at February's 2018 Canadian International AutoShow by Chris Nagy.
