<p>A large spider found clinging to a branch above floodwaters in northern Queensland was rescued on March 11 when a man and woman spotted the arachnid outside a supermarket in the town of Halifax.</p><p>Local residents Andrea Gofton shared a video of the rescue on Facebook that shows the spider dangling above floodwater. In a follow-up video posted later online by Gofton, a man can be seen carrying the spider, still hanging on its branch, away from the water towards some nearby grassland.
