In this video we teach you how to take your clay fangs, cast them in alginate then pour a Jet acrylic teeth shade into the mold to make your fangs. Jet Acrylic is a cold cure dental acrylic used for temporary bridges and such in the dental industry. If you mess up your first set of fangs or you would like to make a quick duplicate set of fangs: Within a half an hour you can remove your acrylic and quickly pour another set of teeth in the same alginate mold if you would like. The alginate usually holds up for a second casting especially if your room is at a cold temperature.\r
\r
Great place to get dental acrylic:\r
\r
\r
Here is the link to the first video on making Fangs:\r
\r
\r
If you want to make a retainer for your fangs click here:\r
\r
\r
Basic supplies you will need to make a pair of fangs.\r
1. dental alginate\r
2. disposable teeth tray\r
3. teeth shade dental acrylic powder\r
4. oil base clay (to sculpt teeth with)\r
5. a dermal tool with sanding bits\r
\r
\r
Supply list and links:\r
\r
Alginate - \r
\r
We also use a glaze to coat the fangs which is not recommend by some people as it is not tested to put into the mouth.
