Her punchy flavour bears echoes of the late Amy Winehouse while production flaunts itself towards a fleshy RnB seduction on the cusp of alternative pop.<br /><br />While SAYAH serves up hooky choruses you’ll catch lightning bolts of neo-soul and RnB that have ripened from a natural evolution nurtured by her biggest influences including Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.<br /><br />As a songwriter she chases bleeding emotion, magnifying the experience with starkly honest lyrics.
