<p>The Ames Police Department in Iowa used one of their regular “Quick Tips”</a> videos on March 16 to get in some St Patrick’s Day advice.</p><p>“We would rather you find the gold at the end of the rainbow, than our handcuffs at the end of your celebration,” Officer Eric Snyder</a> begins.</p><p>First up is making sure to designate a sober driver if you plan to “enjoy a green (or any color) beer,” then there’s a warning regarding the legality of pinching</a> (it’s “technically assault”).</p><p>His final tip? “Take it easy on the green clothing and accessories, if you don’t follow the other rules, at least you won’t look ridiculous in your mugshot.” Credit: Ames Police Department via Storyful</p><br />
