The 3 day All India Congress Committee plenary session is taking place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor stadium in Delhi. The session will open with flag hoisting at 9 am today. Congress president Rahul Gandhi is expected to make opening remarks in the plenary session. Sonia Gandhi will also be speaking at the event around 3 pm.<br /><br />The AICC plenary, whose main agenda is ratification of Rahul's election as Congress president, will pass 4 resolutions. The political resolution, which is expected to be passed today will carry indications on the party's plan of action for the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held in 2019. <br /><br />According to sources, the resolution will give a broad outline of what the party's strategy will be with regard to getting an alliance in place in the run up to the next general elections.
