Hoping to speed up the process of constitutional reform,... the South Korean government is set to submit its bill on revision before President Moon Jae-in embarks on his trip to Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates this week. <br /> The Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae says the bill is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly on Wednesday.<br />The draft proposal includes scrapping the current single five-year presidential term limit and replacing it with a renewable four-year term similar to the U.S. system.<br />The draft was presented by a presidential advisory committee last week.<br />The Presidential Office's draft was introduced first,... as the rival political parties have yet to reach a consensus on their revision plan.<br />The government hopes to hold a referendum on a Constitutional revision at the same time as local elections in June. <br />
