South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha has been discussing North Korea with top diplomats from the European Union. <br />Speaking at the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday, Kang explained the fast-changing situation on the Korean Peninsula now that Pyongyang has shown a strong inclination to talk. <br />She asked for the EU's continued support and cooperation in establishing peace within the region. <br /> On the sidelines of the meeting,... Kang was briefed by her Swedish counterpart on her talks with North Korea's top diplomat Ri Yong-ho. <br />They called the upcoming summits with North Korea a "turning point" in resolving the nuclear issue and bringing lasting peace to the region. <br />
