The landfall of Cyclone Eliakim in Madagascar brought heavy rains and high swells to nearby Reunion Island. <br /><br />The footage, captured on Friday (March 16), shows giant waves battering moving vehicles on a coastal motorway in Reunion Island.<br /><br />According to reports, at least seven people were killed by the tropical cyclone and more than two thousand residents had to evacuate their homes in Madagascar.
