A biker got submerged by massive waves on one of the main highways of La Réunion following heavy rain and high swells brought by Tropical Cyclone Eliakim. <br /><br />The footage, captured on Friday (March 16), shows giant waves battering moving vehicles on a coastal highway on La Réunion, a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean.<br /><br />According to reports, several people were killed by the tropical cyclone and more than 2,000 residents had to evacuate their homes in neighbouring Madagascar.
