Twenty-three Russian diplomats expelled from the UK have begun their trip home.<br />They were ousted over the poisoning of a former Russian double agent on British soil.<br />Around 80 diplomats and their families were due to fly out of London on Tuesday to Moscow.<br />A small crowd gathered outside the Russian embassy, hugging and waving goodbye.<br />Russia has denied any involvement in the nerve agent attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter. <br />
