At least 29 people were killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday after a suicide bomber blew himself up near Kabul University.<br /> Officials say the attacker was trying to reach the capital's Sakhi shrine, where hundreds were gathered to celebrate the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz. <br />He was said to have detonated his vest after security forces identified him just before reaching the shrine.<br />Nearly 60 people have been injured and officials fear the death toll could rise. <br />The bombing, claimed by the Islamic State group, is just the latest in a string of attacks to rock Kabul since the start of the year. <br />
