<p>Up to 150 whales were stranded at Hamelin Bay, Western Australia, on March 23.</p><p>The whales had washed up on a beach near the town of Augusta, ABC</a> quoted Department of Fisheries. It was unclear at the time of publication how many were dead.</p><p>A shark warning was issued for the area and people were advised to keep clear of the animals.
