This is the shocking moment a lorry knocks over a tree which plunges to the ground and flattens a woman. <br /><br />The two women had just stepped out of a truck after being given a lift in Bulacan, Philippines, on Wednesday (March 21).<br /><br />But on the other side of the road, a large white lorry can be seen trying to squeeze through the narrow gap. <br /><br />It then clips a large tree on the pavement which breaks in half and plunges the ground. <br /><br />One woman in a white top is clipped by the branches but stands back up clutching her head while her friend in a yellow top is knocked down when the tree topples over onto her. <br /><br />Passers-by rushed to help the stricken woman who came round from being knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital for treatment. <br /><br />Athena Cruz, who works at a nearby office, said: ''We don't personally know the women, they were brought to the hospital after what happened.<br /><br />''It was really shocking, everything that happened was really an accident. Nobody wanted what happened.<br /><br />''The truck hit the tree when it stopped to unload a passenger on the other side of the road.
