++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++ More than one hundred whales died after washing ashore in Western Australia today (March 23). <br /><br />Heartbreaking footage shows dozens of pilot whales lying dead on the sand in Hamelin Bay as a group of people try to revive some of the mammals by throwing water to them.<br /><br />According to local reports, only 7 of all the stranded pilot whales had survived. <br /><br />Experts and authorities say these pilot whales are known for beaching themselves but they don't know the reasons for this rare behaviour.
