<br /> <p>Thousands of people took to the streets of Barcelona on March 25 to protest the arrest of former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont.</p><p>Puigdemont was arrested in Germany</a> after a visit to Finland, while making his way back to Belgium where he had been living in self-imposed exile.</p><p>La Vanguardia reported</a> that almost 100 people were injured in demonstrations in Barcelona, where riot police used force to disperse the crowds.</p><p>This video, taken from the balcony on Carrer d’Aragó in Barcelona, shows a police van speeding towards protesters.
