These are chords where the 3rd is replaced with the 2nd or (usually) the 4th. These create a much more ambiguous and floating sound, which does not necessarily need to be resolved.\r<br>\r<br>In Jazz, sus chords are usually extended to sus9 or susb9 chords. These are generally voiced a F/G or D-7/G.
