Firefighters respond to a huge fire in east London tonight (April 1).<br /><br />In video filmed by an eyewitness, thick black smoke rises into the sky this evening from the fire at a derelict building in Hackney Wick, neart the Olympic Park. <br /><br />London Fire Brigade tweeted that a fire occurred at a disused warehouse on Wick Lane in Hackney.<br /><br />Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters were called to the fire at a derelict building, they said, which is now under control.
