A British team won a 24-hour lawnmower race in Champagne-Ardenne in France on Sunday.<br /><br />Drivers with their backup teams from Luxemburg, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom and France had to complete as many laps of the circuit within the 24-hour time frame. The race started at 4.00pm on Saturday 31st March.<br /> <br />Weather conditions were good at the start but as dawn arrived the rain came and made racing very challenging.<br /> <br />The British-led team (Best Western) took an early lead and dominated for most of the race. They crossed the finishing line 42 laps ahead of the next team.
