A powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck southern Bolivia on Monday, and could be felt across several cities across neighboring Brazil.<br /> The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 10.40 a.m. local time.<br />The epicenter was 127 kilometers southeast of Tarija and struck 557 kilometers below the surface.<br />It was said to be one of the most powerful quakes on record in Bolivia, but didn't cause any damage or injuries because it was so deep. <br />
