This is the moment a rubbish truck sideswipes a pair of parked luxury Mercedes, causing thousands of pounds of damage. <br /><br />CCTV footage shows the bin lorry picking up rubbish outside offices in Peterborough, UK.<br /><br />After the bin men complete their rounds and their vehicle pulls away, the tail end of the massive truck crunches into a black Mercedes CLA AMG Sport and a Mercedes GLC next to it. <br /><br />The alarmed owners of the vehicles are seen walking out to observe the destruction. <br /><br />The owner of the luxury vehicle said the damage to the cars, which belong to him and his father, was extensive. <br /><br />He said: "There was not a scratch on the truck, but my father and I were left with a £15,000 ($21,000) insurance claim and no ride home."<br /><br />He added: "The CLA came off worst, requiring three pages worth of itemised repairs including the replacement of the entire right hand side, rear tail light, boot lid, a diamond cut alloy wheel and practically a full respray. <br /><br />"The restoration work took over five weeks in total. <br /><br />"The GLC was out of action for a fortnight requiring a wheel replacement and some minor bodywork and a respray to the left hand side."<br /><br />The video was captured on August 8 last year.
