A 6.1-magnitude earthquake has struck western Japan, leaving at least four people with minor injuries and damaging buildings and roads.<br /> Japan's Meteorological Agency said the tremor hit the city of Oda in Shimane Prefecture in the early hours of Monday morning, local time, at a depth of about ten kilometers. <br />It caused a partial blackout and disrupted water supply, but did not affect the Shimane nuclear power plant. <br />
