GAL’s team was faced with having to replace two 15,000-litre storage tanks with a single 13,000-litre double wall static rated tank - including a new fuel management system. <br />One of the biggest challenges GAL faced was the sheer size of the tanks made installation complicated, as well as the fact the backup generator did not allow for downtime. We isolated one of the tanks in order to allow for the removal of the other. Once the second tank was cleaned, our team removed it by cutting it into sections.
