A British pensioner was in hospital after being STABBED at home by his Thai girlfriend - when he tried to break up with her. <br /><br />Kim Fuller, 67, was with Wasana Kande, 38, at an apartment in Pattaya, Thailand, when she suddenly lashed out. <br /><br />The furious girlfriend grabbed the nine-inch long kitchen knife and plunged it into Fuller's stomach. <br /><br />She fled the scene at the Diana-Estate Condominium while Fuller was rushed to hospital. <br /><br />Officers arrived at around 7pm shortly after the attack and found blood on the walls.<br /><br />They caught Wasana nearby with her bloodied grey crop top in a plastic bag and she confessed to stabbing Fuller. <br /><br />She told police that he wanted to break up with her and demanded she leave his house - which caused her to get angry and attack him with the knife. <br /><br />Wasana was pictured pointing to the weapon while being walked on a re-enactment. <br /><br />Fuller, who is originally from Blackpool in Lancashire, was visited in his hospital bed on Saturday morning at Pattaya Memorial Hospital as part of a press conference, in which officers delivered a get-well-soon hamper. <br /><br />He told them: ''I'm so thankful that you caught her quickly. I'm very impressed with how quickly you did.<br /><br />''I'm not feeling great, today. But I'm still alive and I'll be better soon.''<br /><br />Police Major General Nantachart Suphamongkhon said that Wasana had confessed to attacking Kim.<br /><br />He said: ''Wasana Kande was arrested on suspicion of using a 22.5cm long kitchen cutting knife to stab the British man and leaving him seriously injured."
