South Korea has filed an appeal against a ruling by the World Trade Organization on its import restrictions on Japanese seafood affected by the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster.<br /> The trade ministry's decision on Monday comes after a WTO dispute panel ruled in October of last year that while South Korea's measures were justified,... maintaining them violated WTO rules.<br />Japan lodged a complaint with the WTO back in 2015.... to challenge Seoul's import bans and additional testing requirements on fish caught from eight prefectures near Fukushima. <br />
