Strong winds topple giant statue of China's first emperor

A 62ft-high, six-ton statue of China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang has fallen flat on its face after strong winds hit eastern China on April 6.<br /><br />In the video, captured in Binzhou City in Shangdong Province, a crane tries to lift up the toppled giant bronze sculpture, which lies face down on the ground at a tourist site known as Qing Huang Tai scenic spot.<br /><br />According to reports, China's meteorological observatory issued a yellow signal, its second-strongest.<br /><br />The statue, which was built in 2005, was blown ten metres away from its original place.
