Reese Witherspoon Inspired HBO to Fix its Gender Pay Gap<br /> HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys, told The Hollywood Reporter about Witherspoon’s contribution to creating equality in the company’s workplace.<br /> Bloys said Witherspoon, who is at the forefront of the Time’s Up Movement, helped the company address gender pay disparities.<br /> “…we just finished our process where we went through and made sure that there were no inappropriate disparities in pay; and where there were, if we found any, we corrected it going forward. And that is a direct result of the Time’s Up movement.”<br /> Witherspoon, who stars in and is executive producer of HBO’s Big Little Lies, has her own production company named Pacific Standard Films, which puts female leads in the spotlight.<br /> Pacific Standard Films has produced Big Little Lies and 2014’s Gone Girl and Wild.
