<br /> Netflix won't be at Cannes this year. <br />Netflix has officially pulled out of the Cannes Film Festival because of a rule change surrounding distribution. <br />The new rule requires that all films have theatrical distribution, which inhibits Netflix, an online streaming service. <br />Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, said that he wants their films to be on the same playing ground as other filmmakers. <br />
