Ice on northern China's Amur River was blown up to prevent flooding as the weather got warmer on April 8.<br /><br />The dramatic clip, shot in Mohe County in Heilongjiang Province, shows workers digging holes in the frozen river and putting explosives into them.<br /><br />Then a worker counts down to blow up the ice, sending the water to about 100-meters high.
