At a meeting for the Michigan State University Board of Trustees, a former gymnast accused the interim university president of attempting to coerce her with money.<br />According to Kaylee Lorincz, interim President John Engler asked her last month if she would accept a check before a similar meeting.<br />The 18-year-old added that President Engler offered $250,000 with MSU general counsel Carol Viventi.<br />Lorincz added that Viventi was not introduced as a lawyer during their encounter in a conference room.<br />In a statement prepared for the Board, Lorincz called Engler's actions callous and disrespectful. <br />
