Last year omedian Hari Kondabolu released the documentary The Problem With Apu.<br />He said the character of Apu is racist against Indians.<br />The comedian had been hoping the show would respond and change the character.<br />The Simpsons responded by saying it may or may address the issue.<br />Kondabolu then went on an unhinged, week's long twitter tirade against the show.<br />Now, Al Jean, the Simpsons showrunner, has responded.<br />Jean addressed the controversy, and, taking the high road, said the staff is considering the 'right' response. <br />
