The National Election Commission is expected to determine the fate of under-fire Financial Supervisory Service chief Kim Ki-sik in the coming hours. <br /> The commission will hold a general meeting this afternoon to discuss allegations against the head of Korea's financial watchdog.<br />The Blue House has said it would refer to the commission's decision to see whether Kim's ethical standards as a lawmaker had been 'below average'.<br />Kim, who only became head of the FSS this month, faces four allegations including,... illegally giving nearly 46-thousand U.S. dollars to the Korea Institute for the Future in 2016, having overseas trips sponsored by financial institutions while he was a lawmaker few years ago, and promoting a female intern who accompanied him on some of his trips. <br />
