Cristian David, cantante y compositor, y Francisco Romairone, bajista y productor, luego mudan el proyecto a Buenos Aires.<br /><br />El 2014 Rootment participa y logra la Mención de Honor en el Rototom Contest Latino, dando una muy buena impresión al jurado y espectadores en la final, organizada en Makena Cantina Club.<br /><br />En 2015 se lanza el primer LP titulado The Roots Movement, 10 canciones en 52 minutos que fusionan el roots jamaiquino con rock, jazz y funk. Este disco fue presentado oficialmente el 23 de octubre de 2015 en el Conventillo Cultural Abasto, Capital Federal, a sala llena.<br /><br />En enero de 2017 Rootment lanza un EP en vivo, una sesión intima grabada en Estudio Santito, presentando 2 sencillos nuevos y un tributo a Bob Marley. <br /><br />A lo largo de 6 años, Rootment promedia 150 shows en vivo, los cuales incluyen presentaciones en Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, La Plata, Bariloche y una gira realizada por el sur de Brasil en enero de 2016, que incluyó una invitación al Summer Reggae Festival en Opinião y una presentación en el canal de televisión TVE de Porto Alegre. Además, la banda ha compartido escenario con artistas como Resistencia Reggae y Alborosie, entre<br />otros.<br /><br />Actualmente, la banda se encuentra trabajando en su segundo LP, el cual será lanzado en 2018.<br /><br /><br />Rootment begins in 2010 in Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina. This album was officially released<br />on 10/23/2015 at the Conventillo Cultural Abasto, Capital Federal, to full house.<br /><br />In January 2017 Rootment releases a live EP, an intimate session recorded at Estudio Santito, presenting 2 new singles and a tribute to Bob Marley.<br /><br />Over these last 6 years Rootment had an average of 150 live shows, including presentations in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, La Plata, Bariloche and a tour throughout south Brazil in January 2016, including an invitation to the Summer Reggae Festival at Opinião and a presentation at TVE in Porto Alegre (Public TV).
